  Oppenheimer Collection

The Oppenheimer Collection, initially funded by the Jules and Doris Stein Foundation and H. Tony and Marti Oppenheimer, is currently supported by the Oppenheimer Brothers Foundation. The collection focuses upon contemporary works by regionally, nationally and internationally recognized artists and features a diverse range of media and styles in sculpture, painting, clay, and new media.

The gently rolling hills of the 234-acre campus, as well as numerous courtyard sites and interior spaces, are ideally suited to the installation of these gifts to Johnson County Community College. Additionally, the Oppenheimer Collection complements the college's existing collection of contemporary art, which was established in 1980. The collection is visited by nearly 200,000 visitors each year.
